(items booked separately)

Mastermind Mondays at Just Float are expert-led workshops with optional 90-minute floats afterwards that provide you, our Members, with even more tools for de-stressing and achieving peak life condition. (Workshop & Float times, details, etc. are listed below.)

This month, Mastermind Monday welcomes Mark Melchiorre, an expert practitioner and teacher of Asian/Oriental medicine with an MS in Oriental Medicine, a nationally certified teacher of Tai Chi and Qigong, a licensed acupuncturist and a faculty member at several schools of Asian Medicine. Additional techniques Mark uses for healing and maintaining optimal health for his private practice clients include Tuina massage, Cupping, Gua Sha, and more.

In this workshop, Mark will lead an exploration of the Taoist Qigong principles of the “Three Mindful Alignments”: the conscious and intentful adjustment of body alignment, breath, and mental focus to put one in touch with “the healer within.” Focus will be placed on the adaptability of the technique, which can be done standing, sitting, or lying down, as well as how to use the technique to enhance both your float sessions and your daily life.

Remember, there are only 30 slots available for these workshops, and only 10 slots available for post-workshop floats to use your new technique for the ultimate float- make sure to make your reservation ASAP!

Mark began studying Tai Chi Chuan and Qigong in 1985. His study and practice led him to investigate the philosophy behind these disciplines, culminating in his present career as a practitioner-teacher of Asian/Oriental Medicine. Trained in the USA and China, Mark continues to practice Tai Chi and Qigong as both a professional member of the National Qigong Association and a certified teacher. As a teacher, Mark’s primary focus is to teach methods that are adaptable to an individual’s unique personal health and fitness requirements.

From Mark:

“Qi (pronounced chee) is the body’s life enabling vital energy. We experience blockage or depletion of this vital energy as pain, disease or disharmony. These effects may be felt in our body, mind, and/or spirit.

I use the Traditional Chinese/Oriental Medicine methods of Acupuncture, Qigong and Tai Chi to promote health and to effectively treat and prevent a variety of disorders of the MIND, BODY, and SPIRIT.”

Remember, there are only 30 spots for the Workshop, and 10 spots for the special 90-minute post-workshop float, so reserve your spot right away!
